We’re asking our community to help us bring this documentary home.
We need to raise $24,000 to finish post production and complete Survivors of the Badlands: The Wild Horses of Theodore Roosevelt National Park.
Over the next few months, we’ll be sharing exclusive clips as we push toward the finish line.
This film tells the urgent story of the roughly 200 wild horses who have called Theodore Roosevelt National Park home since its earliest days. These horses are not just part of the scenery. They are living history. They represent resilience, survival, and the spirit that helped inspire the park itself.
But their future has not always been secure.
This documentary explores the political battles surrounding their management, the threat of eradication, the conservation questions, and the powerful human voices who stepped forward to protect them. It also highlights the deeply personal stories of individual horses within the herd.
In this film, you will experience moments like this alongside history, science, advocacy, and the real stakes facing these horses.
If you believe these horses deserve to remain part of this landscape…
If you believe their story deserves to be told honestly…
If you believe wild still matters…
Will you help us bring this film home?
